Q. VNT has been on an incredible journey since its inception in 2003. What inspired the foundation of the company, and how has the vision evolved over the years?

Ans. When we started VNT in 2003, our goal was simple yet impactful — to bring smart, reliable, protected, and efficient power solutions to the telecom sector. Back then, energy efficiency in telecom was often overlooked, especially in terms of long-term sustainability and site safety. We saw a gap and made it our mission to fill it with innovation, precision, and purpose.

Over the years, our vision has continuously evolved — but the core remains unchanged: thinking bigger to serve better. We’ve expanded from telecom to solar, EV charging infrastructure, EMS, and fire safety systems — all under one roof. At the heart of it, we focus on sustainable growth, intelligent energy use, and creating a safer operating environment for critical infrastructures like telecom towers and data hubs.

As technology advances, our commitment grows stronger: to be a future-ready company that powers progress without compromising on safety or the planet. We’re not just supplying products — we’re building ecosystems that are cleaner, connected, smarter, and safer for the next generation.

Q. What are the core values that have guided VNT through its two-decade journey?

Ans. At VNT, our journey has always been rooted in a strong foundation of trust, integrity, and respect for people — whether they are our clients, partners, team members, or the communities we serve. We believe that sustainability is not just a responsibility; it’s a mindset. Every solution we design, every product we deliver, and every project we execute is guided by our commitment to innovative thinking, uncompromising quality, and long-term environmental responsibility.

Our focus has always been to create high-performance, energy-efficient, and safe systems that not only solve present-day challenges but also contribute to a more sustainable future. These values have helped us earn our customers’ trust and maintain lasting relationships — and they continue to be the driving force behind our growth, every single day.

Q. Can you tell us about a recent breakthrough or technological advancement developed by VNT that you’re particularly proud of?

Ans. At VNT, innovation is in our DNA — and we’re proud to be at the forefront of several impactful advancements in the energy and safety domain. One of our most notable breakthroughs is our high-efficiency 97% rectifier. We also launched a 98% efficiency model — the first in India — setting a trend for using high-efficiency rectifiers in telecom infrastructure. These have significantly reduced energy losses and optimized performance across thousands of sites.

In parallel, we’ve been actively solarizing telecom sites, helping save tons of CO₂ emissions and supporting greener operations in the sector. Our innovative power solutions have powered over 2,50,000 telecom sites, making us a trusted partner in India’s digital and energy transformation. In solar, our wireless String Monitoring solution has been a game changer — providing real-time insights for large-scale solar power plants and helping asset owners enhance efficiency and uptime. We’ve already supplied various solutions contributing to 55+ GW of solar capacity, both in India and globally. Our EV charging infrastructure is now active across PAN India, supporting the growing clean mobility shift. We also take immense pride in contributing to nation-building projects — having supplied advanced fire and safety systems for Vande Bharat trains, key defense facilities, oil & gas projects, data centres, and other strategic infrastructure. Each of these innovations reflects our unwavering commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and safety.

Q. Sustainability is a buzzword today, but VNT has been pushing clean energy solutions for years. What’s your perspective on sustainable growth?

Ans. At VNT, sustainability isn’t just a trend — it’s a long-term commitment that’s deeply embedded in everything we do. From the beginning, we’ve believed that true progress must be responsible, inclusive, and future-focused.

Our core values — sustainability, greener operations, being connected, and staying protected — guide our innovations and solutions. We aim to create energy ecosystems that not only optimize performance and efficiency but also reduce environmental impact and carbon emissions.

Whether it’s through solarizing telecom sites, delivering energy-efficient EV charging solutions, or enabling smart monitoring of solar plants, our goal is to make green energy accessible, reliable, and scalable. We see sustainable growth as the balance between innovation, environmental care, and social responsibility — and we’re proud to be shaping that future every single day.

Q. VNT started in India and now supplies to markets worldwide. What have been the key challenges and learnings from going global?

Ans. Expanding globally has been a rewarding journey for VNT. We’ve successfully supplied solutions across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and America, and are steadily growing in many other regions.

Each country brings its own set of technical parameters, regulations, and market expectations. The key learning for us has been to stay agile and adaptable. Our engineering team customizes solutions to meet local requirements, while our certified, high-quality manufacturing practices ensure we meet and exceed global standards.

This combination of technical flexibility and quality excellence has helped us build trust and deliver value across diverse international markets.

Q. VNT has managed to stay competitive and innovative for over 20 years. What’s the secret to building a resilient team and work culture?

Ans. For me, my team is my greatest strength. What sets VNT apart is the deep sense of ownership our people carry — not just towards their work, but towards the organization’s purpose. There’s genuine respect among colleagues and a shared commitment to our customers, vendors, and all stakeholders.

We’ve consciously built an ecosystem where everyone grows together. By nurturing belongingness and collaboration, we’ve created a culture that feels like “one world, one family.” This unity and mutual respect are what keep us resilient, innovative, and ready to face any challenge together.
